Sail with Ripples II in the Caribbean?

After crossing the pond I’ve decided to stay in the Caribbean for perhaps 2 years. The sailing here is great, it’s sunny and hot and there’s lots of places to explore.

My plans for 2015 are to hang around the southern Windward Islands, St Lucia, Martinique, St Vincent & Grenadines and end up in Grenada in May where I’ll leave the boat for the hurricane season until December.

I need crew to help me to get around so please come and join me for a week or two, or longer. You don’t need sailing experience, I’ll teach you along the way. The boat is very comfortable with 2 spare double cabins, both en-suite so we can take the kids too. Typically we’d be out sailing for 2/3 days per week allowing you time to explore the islands and do a bit of shopping, etc. We can be as energetic as you like, I tend to err on the lazy, relaxed end of the scale.

All boat gear is provided and of a high standard. There’s details and pics on the web site. It’s a Lagoon 450 owners version with air con, diving gear and electric everything. There’s direct flights from the UK, approx 8 hours from £400ish. It’s possible you’ll fly into one country and out of another as we move the boat south.

Terms are that you pay for your own travel and personal stuff. All boat fees are covered by myself. We share food/drinks and you pay £10 pp per day for consumables. Boat insurance is comprehensive and covers you for boat related risks but you’d want your own normal travel insurance.

Currently all dates are free so please get in touch if you’re interested and we can work something out.
