Stuff I wish I’d got before leaving the UK

  • Better bimini/hardtop, reaching the sails is impossible so a hardtop would be great.
  • External blinds to keep the sun out.
  • More solar panels
  • Canoe/paddleboard
  • More batteries (3 fridges uses lots of juice).
  • Comfy seat at helm (cushions don’t help, needs a proper seat).
  • Helm instruments mounted above wheel so I don’t have to reach through it.
  • Guttering around cockpit, the rain pours in even with the enclosure up, it even goes straight into the forward cabin windows if they’re not closed.
  • Alarm system with PIRs.
  • More spares, more rope, more tools.
